I see right through you…

What do you wear when it hits 30 in Glasgow? Well, if you’re me you go for an entirely sheer maxi dress. And you fucking love it.

I teamed it with this light summery shawl & the only shoes my swollen feet will consider. Then because I am a style fairy I slipped on some jewellery which matched perfectly.

Dress – Primark

Shawl – Gift

Sandals – Hotter

Bracelt & Ring – Accessorize

I adore this outfit. I felt laid back sexy & incredibly comfortable in the hot weather. I took my see through dress to a movie where we  were frankly terrified for an hour & a half. The Shallows is good, but be prepared to let out the odd scream.

I got that red lip classic thing you like…

I’ve had a quiet week blogging wise as I’ve been a busy bee in other areas of my life. I wanted to do a quick outfit post before the weekend takes over. Dinner with my darling Bilbob offered the perfect opportunity to get dolled up.

Red lips & they’re real mascara always give me a confidence boost. Tonight I also rocked a velvet tassled dress & let’s face it, it’s impossible not feel splendid in such a creation.

Scarf – Gift

Lips – Burberry

Glasses – Red or Dead

Food was so so, cocktails were abysmal, but the company was top class. Which just goes to show that all is well with a best friend in tow.

Have a great weekend.

Essential is the shimmer….

I’m excited about this dress. I know tinsel tassles are not everyone’s first pick, but for me, it was love at first sight. It has had many stares on both it’s outings. I’m fairly certain more of those looks where ‘wtf?’ than ‘wow’. My love remains remains strong.

I didn’t want my shimmering dress to feel lonely so slipped my tootsies in to these sparkly oxfords. They were made for each other.

Flower Crown – My own creation.

And, best of all, my arse looks so good in this dress. Check it out. I did at every opportunity!

Up on the roof….

I succumbed to cabin fever on Saturday night & took a taxi into town to see a film with my wee sis. I tried my best to get dolled up, but I’m not sure I was entirely successful. Anyway, it felt good to be out .this

I opted for this amazing tassle vest. I adore the electric blue, it gives a real kick to a simple black outfit. I teamed it with this dip hem skirt & a cosy black cardi to keep out the October chill. Our shoot failed to get off the ground due to a down pour, so we headed up in the air to get some photographs. The cineworld in Glasgow is, bizarrely, the tallest cinema in the world, which makes a great back drop for cool chicks in cool dreads.

Despite some bemused onlookers, I even managed a shimmy. Nothing beats shaking your tassles.

Oh & we saw ‘A walk amongst the tombstones’. It wasn’t incredibly original, but I like Liam Neeson & a thriller always pleases me. I’d say it is worth a watch.
